Privacy Notice — Protection of Personal Data
1. Data Controller
Under Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 ("KVKK"), your personal data is processed by Başkurt Mühendislik Gıda İnşaat Nakliye Sanayi ve Ticaret Limited Şirketi ("Company") as the data controller.

2. Personal Data Processed
If you submit the contact/quote form on our website, we process your full name, company/facility information, phone number, e-mail address and the content of your message. Our website does not use any cookie-based tracking, analytics or advertising tools.
3. Purposes and Legal Basis
- Receiving, evaluating and responding to your requests and quote applications (KVKK Art. 5/2-c: necessity for the establishment or performance of a contract),
- Carrying out communication activities with you (KVKK Art. 5/2-f: legitimate interest),
- Other communication activities subject to your explicit consent (KVKK Art. 5/1).
4. Data Transfers
Your personal data is never shared with third parties for marketing purposes. Our corporate website and the Energy Monitoring Portal are hosted on servers managed by us in a data centre located in Türkiye (Istanbul); your personal data is not transferred abroad. Komuta Savunma Yüksek Teknoloji Ltd. Şti. (Komuta Cloud), which provides the hosting infrastructure, acts as a data processor under KVKK Art. 8, with access limited to what the service requires. Backups on our servers are stored encrypted. Your data may also be shared with competent public authorities within the scope of legal obligations.
5. Retention Period
Data submitted through the form is retained for as long as necessary to conclude your request, taking into account statutory limitation periods, after which it is deleted or anonymized.
6. Your Rights under KVKK Art. 11
You have the right to learn whether your data is processed, to request information, to learn the purpose of processing, to know the third parties to whom it is transferred, to request correction or deletion, to object to results arising from automated analysis, and to claim compensation for damages arising from unlawful processing. You may submit your requests in writing to the address above or by e-mail to info@baskurtmuhendislik.com. Requests are concluded free of charge within 30 days at the latest.
7. Cookies
Our corporate website does not use cookies; there are no analytics or advertising cookies, and site resources including fonts are self-hosted.
The Energy Monitoring Portal uses only strictly necessary technologies: your session is kept in your browser's local storage (authentication token). Login bot-protection is provided by ALTCHA, a proof-of-work mechanism running entirely on our own servers; no data is transmitted to any third party during this verification. All portal components, including charting libraries, are served from our own servers — no external CDN is used. As no analytics, marketing or tracking cookies are used, no cookie consent banner is displayed.
8. Client Portal and Energy Consumption Data
Within the Energy Monitoring Portal, we process your identity and contact details (full name, title, e-mail, phone) and the energy consumption data of the facilities you are authorized for (OSOS meter records: hourly load profile, active/reactive indices, demand values), for the purpose of providing energy monitoring and engineering consultancy services, based on KVKK Art. 5/2-c and your explicit consent collected electronically with a timestamp at first login. Portal data — including authentication, database and file storage components — is stored on our own servers in a data centre located in Türkiye and is not transferred abroad. Each user can only access the facilities assigned to them; access is enforced at the database layer via row-level security. 9. Portal Data — Additional Notes
Within the customer portal we additionally process support/quotation messages, technical documents shared with you and the original OSOS report files of your facilities. Portal data is stored on our own servers located in Türkiye; no international transfer takes place. Your acknowledgement at first login is recorded together with the version and timestamp of this notice. Tariff/feeding/facility-type preferences and unit prices you enter are kept only in your own browser storage. Security measures include TLS with HSTS, CSP, mandatory 2FA for administrators, row-level security and signed, time-limited links for file access. Portal terms of use (Turkish): Kullanım Koşulları.
