A graduate of Istanbul Technical University's Department of Electrical Engineering with over 30 years of experience in the design, implementation and management of high-voltage systems. He founded Başkurt Engineering in 1992 and has built it into one of the region's leading engineering firms. He has held more than 75 high-voltage operation responsibilities across industrial facilities in the food, agriculture and tourism sectors, and is the architect of the company's full-scope engineering service model — from design to operation, troubleshooting to maintenance.
Holder of an M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering from Istanbul Technical University (thesis: Synchronous Reluctance Machines); specialized in electrical machines, power transmission and distribution, protection systems (IEC 60364 / TS HD 60364), power quality, energy efficiency and corporate carbon management. He leads the technical side of Başkurt Engineering's integrated service model — from energy audits to field measurements, greenhouse-gas verification to electrical installation safety.
